In this portfolio, I explore the unique market cultures of two distinct yet equally rich countries—South Korea and Spain. While each market reflects its own historical, social, and culinary influences, both offer a window into the heart of their respective societies. From the bustling street markets of Seoul, where the air is filled with the scent of sizzling street food and the hum of lively haggling, to the colorful, sun-drenched mercados of Spain, where fresh produce, artisanal goods, and spirited conversation define the experience, this collection captures the dynamic energy and deep cultural roots of these everyday spaces. Through these images, I aim to highlight the ways in which markets not only serve as places to buy and sell, but as living expressions of community, tradition, and identity in both Korea and Spain.
